World Aids Day NSW: 1 December

1 December 2009 marked the 21st anniversary of World AIDS Day.

Thank you to the HIV/AIDS community organisations, health workers and volunteers who held events to mark World AIDS Day 2009 and to let people know that HIV IS STILL HERE.

You can prevent HIV transmission by:

• Using condoms and water based lubricant when having sex with new and casual partners
• Getting tested for HIV
• Never share injecting equipment
• Be informed and talk about HIV
